It is an honor to welcome you to Ruth Bader Ginsburg Elementary School!
We are so excited to welcome aspiring dual language kindergarten and first grade students for the 2023-2024 school year.
Vancouver Public School’s first dual language program was initiated in the fall of 2005 and has expanded into four elementary schools: Sarah J. Anderson Elementary, Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary, Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary, and Harney Elementary. Now we have added Ruth Bader Ginsburg Elementary School and it will be the first fully dual-language school in Vancouver Public Schools!
As our students grow, one grade level will be added each year. This means Ruth Bader Ginsburg Elementary School will have kindergarten and first grade students in 2023-24; kindergarten, first and second grade students in 2024-2025; and so on, until the school will have kindergarten through fifth grade students by the 2027-2028 school year!
We are a 90/10, two-way dual language school. This means students who speak Spanish, English and other languages will be learning in Spanish 90% of their day in kindergarten.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg Elementary School is made up of bilingual staff. We look forward to collaborating with our growing community to create our mission and meaningful traditions that welcome all to our Ruth Bader Ginsburg Elementary School.
